Supervised by Language Teaching Professionals, Telling Time is an app made to teach kids to tell time. It’s focused on children aged 3-4 years old and it has been translated to English and Spanish. It features an analogue watch face where children can move the thicker “hour” hand and the thinner “minute” hand, in order to get the desired hour. The app includes a digital watch too, the easiest way to learn how to tell time for children reading the numbers at a glance, example: a quarter past ten – 22:15.
Four different levels of difficulty
Easy – Children can adjust by themselves the desired hour and, by pressing the speaker, they can hear the hour.
Intermediate - oclock times. In this level children will only move the “hour” hand of the watch.
Hard - oclock times, half past, quarter to and quarter past hours.
Expert – No boundaries.
This app let children learn the difference between daytime and nighttime. The watch face turns into a bright yellow color with a sun on screen that disappears on sunset allowing the moon and stars rising. This process changes the watch face into a bluish color. When moving the watch hands to a daytime the Moon is hidden and the sun rises again.
